Euromoney magazine was founded in 1969 by Sir Patrick Sergeant, the then City editor of the Daily Mail. In the decades since, the idea to launch a publication to reflect the growth in global capital flows has flourished alongside the development of banking and capital markets. Entrepreneurial from the start, Sir Patrick started the company with just £6,200 of capital.
